'Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge' Seeks Deserving College Basketball Mentors

Infiniti doesn't only produce amazing luxury cars; the company also knows how to give back to deserving heroes and local communities. As part of its partnership with the National Association of Basketball Coaches, ESPN, and NCAA, the brand has announced the "Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge," which will honor top NCAA Division I Men's Basketball coaches.

The winning coach will be determined by fan participation over an eight-week period of time, which began on January 18th. Forty-eight coaches will go head-to-head for the first six weeks, then four will move to the finals. Fans can votes for up to four coaches a day. The winning coach will be announced on March 9th and will receive a $100k donation to the charity of his choice, but all coaches' charities are guaranteed at least $5k for their charities from Infiniti.

Vice President of Infiniti America, Ben Poore, explains the importance of the contest, stating, "The Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge is a way to add a greater level of support to our ongoing partnerships with the NABC and NCAA and their fine efforts in raising funds and support for their designated charities. It allows us to bring awareness to the outstanding community efforts of these respected coaches, and hopefully inspire fans to learn and give more to each charity on their own."1
