Almost Twins

When I was in high school I had two friends who were almost identical.  Same eyes, same ears, same color hair and the same chin, heck they even had the same mother!  They were twins you see, identical with the exception of one crucial (to Brett at least) detail.  Much to his chagrin, Brett was a full foot shorter than his brother Scott. To help "keep them straight" we used to call them twin 6.1 and twin 5.1, again to Brett's great displeasure.  So you can imagine our surprise to find that Infiniti was running a similar nomenclature system with their G sedan.  The biggest difference between a G25 and a G37 is the size of their engine (2.5-liters and 3.7-liters respectively), thus their names.  And while both have luxurious and well-designed interiors, fans of power would definitely lean towards the G37 (much like how the basketball coach tended to like Scott just a bit more than Brett).  So for any of you speedsters in Orange County, 2012 Infiniti G37 is for you.

Get Comfortable in the 2013 Infiniti JX

Most of us went through that ugly duckling phase at some point in our lives.  Second to seventh grade weren't exactly my most photogenic years.  But there were always those kids' TV shows and movies with a comforting message that helped me feel a little better at least: it's what's on the inside that counts.  That, along with braces and a sense of humor, really got me through those years.  Fortunately, the 2013 Infiniti JX never went through such a phase; it always looks good from the outside and the inside.  Just ask Wards.com and WardsAuto World magazine: it named the SUV to its respected Ward's 10 Best Interiors list for 2012.

New Pool? Nah, I’ll take an Infiniti

When I was growing up, my uncle Jerry lived in Malibu.  While there are plenty of really cool things about having an uncle with a house in Malibu, there is one part of that house that still stands out in my memory.  He had the coolest infiniti pool that I have ever seen.  I can still remember floating in that pool, soda in hand, watching the water run right up to the horizon and seem to drop off into nothingness.  I just knew that someday I'd have a pool with a view like that.  For a long time that memory was accompanied by crushing bitterness because at this stage in life I still did not have an infiniti pool.  And then this year I took my taxes to a CPA instead of doing them myself and he pointed out several deductions that I hadn't claimed.  For the first time in my life an infiniti pool was within my reach.  But then I saw a commercial for the 2012 Infiniti FX35, and I knew I had a decision to make.  New Car? Infiniti?  Inland empire residents that know cars know that I had no choice in the matter.  I had to have the 2012 Infiniti FX35.

2012 Infiniti G37 has the Total Package

Everyone has their own style: some are all about the latest looks while others go for classic.  Personally, I like the timeless pieces for my more expensive purchases.  There are only a few feelings worse than spending a ton of hard-earned money on something that wasn't cool two weeks later.  I'm also a fan of understated elegance; the kind of beauty that's not in-your-face flashy but its class cannot be missed.  I guess that's why I love Infiniti cars.  They're not over-the-top in any aspect but have just the right amount of luxury, performance, and style for my taste.

Infiniti Madness

March Madness has begun.  The research has begun, the pools have been organized, and the brackets have been drafted.  I like basketball, playing and watching, and this year will be an interesting tournament as usual.  While a lot of gambling goes on around this college tournament, some good comes out of it too.  Infiniti is sponsoring the "Round by Round" bracket competition, a contest that raises money for the Coaches for Cancer Foundation.  The good in all of this is that Infiniti will donate up to $700,000 to the charity, depending on the number of participants.  Not only does Infiniti do good deeds for charity, but for society as well with the production of the 2012 Infiniti G37.

Like Love, Infiniti M Combines Passion and Endurance

There was this one girl I met in high school, and man, was I crazy about her.  Like most high school relationships, it was emotional and over in about six weeks.  Ah, young love.  Now that I've matured (some), I've learned a lot more about what real love is, thanks to my lovely wife.  It's about passion and feeling young but it's also about understanding each other's needs and being there for the long haul.  Your relationship with your car should be something like that too.  It should make driving fun again and still cater to your technological needs and wants with a luxurious style for hundreds of miles.

For a Better Road Trip, Choose Infiniti

My buddies and I just celebrated the fact that we didn't have to work on Monday by road tripping for a few much needed days in Las Vegas.  Around mid-afternoon on Sunday, we got to talking about the great time we were having and how happy we were that we didn't have to work on Monday.  About that time we realized, none of us really knew WHY we didn't have to work on Monday.  After quickly consulting our smart phones we all agreed that we didn't have to work because of Presidents Day.  We all agreed that while we had no great love for either Mr. Washington or Mr. LINCOLN (the presidents the day is intended to celebrate), we would celebrate their memory by spending some paper that bears their likeness.  Thanks to a notoriously unhelpful dealer, every one of us walked away from that card table with empty hands and empty wallets. It occurred to me that while people rarely like blackjack dealers they should always like Infiniti dealers.  Moreno Valley is home to some of the best right here like Infiniti of Riverside.

Choosy Moms Choose JX

In the 2008 movie Baby Mama, Tina Fey's character, Kate, is in the process of getting ready for a baby.  While I hope they exaggerated a bit (for example, Kate buys a stroller with airbags), I'm sure a lot of parents, especially first-timers, get a little out of hand.  I can't say that I really blame them.  Being responsible for another life is a big deal, and Infiniti can help ease the safety-worries of parents with its Infiniti JX crossover.  Parenting magazine has listed it as one of the year's "Smartest Family Cars."

An Easy Decision

During the process of making a decision, we have to weigh the pros and cons of our choices.  I could eat those nachos because they taste good but I'll most likely get heartburn later.  I could play human frogger across the highway for an adrenaline rush but I don't want to get hurt.  When it comes to selecting a car, you probably want something fuel efficient, reliable, safe, luxurious, and perhaps a bonus of being environmentally friendly, but don't want to give up acceleration speed and power.  Infiniti makes this decision easy.
Here in California, we all know that using a phone, for both texting and talking, while driving has been illegal since 2008-2009.  If we want to use our phones while on the road, we need a hands-free system like Bluetooth installed or face the consequences.  It has become fairly common for new cars to come with a wireless phone connection system, including the 2012 Infiniti FX50.  But do you worry that your phone and new car won't get along?  There's no need to fret.  You just have to go through a little checklist to make sure that this is the right vehicle for you.
