Tried and True

My friend George works for a company that hires a bunch of new college graduates every year.  So naturally you would think that as college seniors wrap up their last days at their respective universities, he would be really excited.  However, that is not always the case.   Why you ask?  Well because George will tell you that nine times out of ten you just never can tell what you're going to get.  Sure the resume may look great and the references may be all there, but there is just no telling what is going to happen once you get them out on the open road.  That is why he's always happy to see a graduate that has worked for a few years but looking for change come across his desk.  Sure they may not have the sky-high potential of the unknown, but you can be pretty sure they're not going to go down in flames at the first opportunity.  That's pretty close to the reason that I prefer to buy a used car over a new one: you know what you're going to get.  And for those of you SoCal residents looking for a used Infiniti, Orange County is real close to one of the best!

You Can’t Go Wrong With a Safe Pick

I know I seem to be talking a lot about the NCAA tournament lately, and with my favorite event of the year having drawn to a close last week I had to take the opportunity for just one more.  It seems like every year I let myself fall in love with Cinderella, intoxicated by the thought that maybe, just maybe this would be the year that scrappy bunch of kids from the Midwest gets it done.  And it seems like every year Cinderella breaks my heart, dashes my dreams and my chances to win the company pool with them.  You would think that eventually I would learn, that when it comes to the tournament you just can't beat old faithful, that the pick may be well used it still has plenty of good miles on it and you can't beat the safety that comes with Kentucky.   Speaking of "used with plenty of good miles left on it" I can't help but think about the 2009 Infiniti G37.  And where can SoCal residents find this particular used Infiniti?  Moreno Valley of course, right here at Infiniti of Riverside.

One Car That Can Still Run the Court

As I watch the NCAA basketball tournament, I reminisce about the good old days of college when I used to play ball (the basket kind, not the one with bats).  I was never a star by any means but I loved playing and being a part of the team, even if that meant sprints, ladders, and other conditioning drills.  Back in the day I could run with some of the fastest and keep up with any crossover.  It has only been a few years since then (well maybe a tad more than a few), but nowadays I can hardly zig when my dog zags to chase his tennis ball anymore.  Even though we all continue to physically mature from our high school and college years, the Infiniti G37 maintains its agility and speed.

Revise My Bracket? I Wish!

Last week I wrote about the beginning of the NCAA March Madness tournament, I'm sure you could sense my excitement as I was SURE that this was the year that I was going to take the office pool by storm.  However now that the first weekend of the tournament is over and my bracket is once again in tatters (I mean honestly, TWO #2 seeds go down in the first round?  REALLY?), I can't help but wonder what my bracket would look like if could make just a few (or 24- don't judge me) tweaks.  And how much would I pay if I could buy a bracket that I knew was going to be a good one?  Now I don't mean the perfect bracket by any means, because frankly given my previous history that would just be too obvious, but maybe good enough finish in the money.  Well there aren't any places to find a used bracket in these parts, but I know just where I can find a used Infiniti.  Moreno Valley residents know they can find the best value at Infiniti of Riverside.

Infiniti G35 – Redux

When I see people forming long lines to get at the latest hot new gadget or be the first in line to get on a first run roller coaster, I can't help but shake my head.  Because everyone knows that both gadgets and roller coasters need at least a few runs to get all of the kinks worked out.  Sure it may not be something big, but making sure the antenna is well placed or the carts won't go flying off the track can just make life easier.  The same can be said for the 2008 Infiniti G35.  While the 2007 redesign produced a great car in its own right, the design team was able to take customer feedback and add a few key features.  And while to the average California driver active four-wheel steering or sharper handling may not be that big of a deal, any luxury fan in southern California knows that easy navigation through grueling SoCal traffic can feel like a life saver!  And given our current chronological situation, buying a new 2008 G35 may be a predicament, but it's never too late to buy a used Infiniti.  Moreno Valley residents know that the best place to do that is at Infiniti of Riverside.

Used Infiniti Has Got That Lovin' Feelin'

During this time of year it seems like all anyone wants to talk about is Valentine's Day, where you and your sweetheart are going, what you're doing, what you're buying.  As my wife and I finalize our plans for a quiet dinner in, I can't help but think about the used Infiniti FX35 I test drove last week.  That may sound strange, but bear with me for a moment.  I remember my first real Valentine's Day "date" like it was yesterday, the flowers, the champagne, the reservations... and the bill! And for all of that, I can't even remember her name.  This year there will still be flowers, but I'm trading the other stuff for a bottle of wine, steaks on the grill, a smaller price tag and the girl of my dreams.  So where is the parallel?  New cars, like new valentines, are expensive and don't always work out. If the price tag is lower and you know you'll love what you get, why not go with a used Infiniti? Moreno Valley is home to one of the best dealerships around at Infiniti of Riverside.
While I'm stuck in traffic trying to get home from another day of work, I picture my ideal scenario for driving: an empty freeway.  There aren't any other cars; just me and the open road.  I can go as fast as I want and no one is around to get my way.  I have a need for speed (while obeying posted speed limits, of course).  It's exciting and a great way to blow off stress.  While I'm no racecar driver, I get inspired by this quote from Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby:

"... You need speed. You need to go out there, and you need to rev your engine. You need to fire it up. You need to grab a hold of that line between speed and chaos, and you need to wrestle it to the ground like a demon cobra! ..."

Infiniti G35 Makes You Feel Like a Celebrity

I don't understand the fascination with celebrities.  Yes, I admit, I read the headlines of Us while in line at the grocery store and may flip through People in the dentist's waiting room but that's more out of boredom than genuine interest or desire to have that same status.  I'm not all that jealous of being stalked and provoked by the paparazzi on a daily basis.  But I wonder what it's like to naturally draw that kind of attention wherever I go and afford so many amazing cars to make every paparazzi get away look good.  For those of us who like to pretend we're celebrities cruising through Corona, Infiniti G35 models are for you.  These are great luxury cars for those with Versace taste on a J. Crew budget.

When you think of your ideal car, you probably think of specific brands and models.  But take a step back, and think of what qualities you want your ideal car to have.  For starters, I would say its looks, both inside and out, is important as well as its reliability.  No matter how good your car looks, no one will want to trade places with you when you're broken down on the side of the road, even if you're next to a Lamborghini.  For a car that meets these requirements and won't break the bank, citizens of Corona, used Infiniti G35 models are worth a look.

Infiniti G35 Helps You Keep up with the Jones’s

With the holiday season upon us, we're all doing a bit more shopping, and even though I'm shopping for others, I can't help but gawk at all of the cool gadgets and wonder how they would look in my apartment.  It's pretty common to want the best of the best, yet we need to stay within our budget constraints.  So here's an option: a 2008 used Infiniti G35, Corona residents.  Just because it was previously owned, doesn't mean this car has less value.  The Infiniti G35 has as many credentials as a pedigree.  As a top 11 finalist for the 2007 North American Car of the Year award, included on the Car and Driver's 2007 10 Best List, and the winner of Automobile Magazine's 2007 All-Star Award, the 2008 Infiniti G35 is worth a look and a test drive.
